Perito Moreno Glacier National Park - Santa Cruz, Argentina

Our hotel concierge recommended a new local tour group that was offering a different way to see the Perito Moreno Glacier.  Rather than the typical bus pickup/drop off to the National Park, this new tour company would first drop us by boat to two different stops offering remote trails through the forest.  They would then bring us to the east end of the glacier wall where you have plenty of time to take photos and stand in awe of the solid wall of ice in front of you.

For the final stop, they dropped us off at the national park where we had about an hour to enjoy the park. With such little time, we only had time to do one of the trails and opted for the Yellow Trail.  It is the most traveled because it gives you the widest, most centered view of the glacier.  Initially, I was a little disappointed that we had such little time in the park, but after being there for about 20 minutes I realized that an hour was more than enough (for us).
