Our tour guide described Palermo Soho as a city that has 'sold its soul', but I think of it as Instagram Gold. There is so much street art, great night life and restaurants, and a lovely safe haven for tourists to wander and experience a small piece of this great city.
We found a blogger who created a google map of the local street art and it was a great way to explore the city on foot. While the map itself was a bit outdated, we had some success and also had the benefit of spotting some additional works not listed. Personally, I really liked Palermo Soho - it had a great variety of diverse dining options and I loved that there were several cafes that serve pour over coffee. A little hipster maybe, but perfect for what I want on vacation as a tourist.
