Pisac, Peru - Photo Entry

Though it started off as a rainy day, the weather eventually cleared and we had the benefit of 4 out of 5 hours of dry weather.  This was an exhausting hike, but beautiful and peaceful.  For the majority of time, we were the only four people on the trail.  It took us a lot longer than planned and the downward trail was rougher than we anticipated. There was at least a mile or two of uneven, steep stone steps which my knees and ankles did not like.  Combined with the earlier rain, parts of the descent was slippery and we all had moments of sliding unexpectedly. Thankfully we made it down safely and we were all super happy when we arrived at the exit that opened to Pisac market.
