Switzerland is a country of 8,000,000 people with Zurich being its largest city made up of about 350,000. We stayed in the charming village of Neuchatel, population 30,000 and the 'downtown' area is all of 6 blocks overlooking Neuchatel Lake. The city itself is quaint, decent selection of local restaurants (ranging from traditional Swiss, Israeli, Thai, and Mediterranean).
