Breakfast in Busan, Boulangerie OPS Patisserie

We found the most amazing bakery in Busan.  While there are probably many great bakeries in Busan, this particular bakery is in a class of its own in general.  The selection is awesome and they are constantly replenishing with freshly baked goods.  Absolutely delicious!!

I opted for the breakfast platter option depicted below.  I am a big fan of quiches and this was very tasty.  For 6500KRW, I got a slice of quiche with a salad and a hot americano coffee.  Hubby got the chocolate danish which he thought was also very good.  Yummy and fresh.

Energized from a very satisfying breakfast, we decided to go for a walk along the main road to the temple and lighthouse.  Probably about 3-4 miles, most of it uphill, but it was good exercising and we both really enjoyed the scenic view.

Along our walk, we came across the row of coffee shops listed in the local tourist map.  It reminded us of a cross between Itaewon (b/c of the international eats) and Samcheongdong (b/c of the many coffee shops)

We arrived at the temple but opted not to go in.  We didn't want to be disrespectful of this active religious site so we just took photos of the outside.

From there, we weaved through the neighborhood to the lighthouses.  What stood out the most was the silence.  By day, this is a quiet fishing village and we loved the peacefulness of it.

The lighthouses!

Went back to the hotel, changed into our beach attire and headed to the beach for a picnic.
