It took a total of 17 minutes for us to exit the plane, pass through immigration, get our luggage, and go through customs. Amazing.

It took about an hour to get to Insadong and after an expeditious check-in, we rested a bit before heading out to get our bearing. It was right around 9pm so many shops were just closing. We felt very fortunate when we realized how central our location was to great little shops, restaurants, banks, and train stations. I don't think we could have asked for a better location! For dinner, we went to Myeong Dong Kalgooksu. There was a restaurant by the same name on Broad Avenue in Palisades Park, NJ that we used to frequent before it moved to another location. The familiarity of the name lured us in and we had a delicious and hearty dinner. Warmed our souls from the long flight and frigid night.
