We were looking for a light bite and aimlessly walking down Insadong street undecided as to where to go. A young man carrying an advert for Mandoo caught my eye which led us down a narrow aisle to see another young man frying up some huge vegetable dumplings (made to order) while bamboo steamers keep a variety of other dumplings warm.
The dumplings were delicious and the large vegetable fried ones were worth the calories. It was crisp without being crunchy and overall, the texture was perfect. I enjoy making my own mandoo and I must say, these rival mine any day.
