Sarabeth's, Park Avenue South - New York City

We met with AL & CJ for brunch at Sarabeth's on Park Avenue South.  Normally, we go to the Central Park location where we've enjoyed many good breakfast meals, but today, we decided to try one of their other locations.  Poor choice.

Food was consistent with the other location, but service was disjointed and completely uncoordinated.  It took three requests to get a refill on coffee and getting any eye contact for more water was nearly impossible. I am very empathetic to wait staff as I know how tiring it is to be on your feet all day dealing with the public.  Therefore, I always go out of my way to be extra friendly and low maintenance, especially when it is busy and it looks like they are running around.  Unfortunately, it was not bustling at 10:45 am and they were pretty well staffed with bus boys kind of hanging out at the back wall.  Not sure why service was so lackluster, but at least my meal was tasty and the company was top notch.  :)
