서촌길 돈까스 (Don Katsu Gyeongbokgung)

After a long day of travel, we were ready for a good meal, but too tired to figure out how to navigate to one of the restaurants on our Seoul bucket list.  Luckily, we happened across this awesome katsu place about 3 blocks from our apartment.  Literally, the best katsu I've ever had.  Hands down.

My fish katsu was very light (not greasy or soggy) and super crispy while the fish remained moist.  It was served with a nicely seasoned rice that had small bits of veggies, salad with a sesame soy dressing, kimchee, daikon, and a miso soup.

Do you know what the most incredible part of this delicious dinner was?  The price.  Dinner was a total of 16,500 KRW which is roughly $16 USD.  Service was nice which was the cherry on top since there is no tipping in Korea.  A great start indeed!
