Aruba - Day Two: Eating & Beaching

After a great nights sleep, we decided to walk over to the shopping/restaurant/souvenir section...aka tourist central.  Only a couple of places were open for breakfast at 8AM so we went to Salt & Pepper for a nice American breakfast.  Service was really nice and we were impressed that the OJ was freshly squeezed.  Nice!
Went to Palm Beach Plaza Mall for a great lunch at Taste of Belgium.  I had a BLT and the bacon was out of this world.  We liked this place so much that this was the first of four visits over the span of our visit.  This may sound a bit critical, but I've found that island food is usually best when expectations are low & food kept simple.  It was a lovely surprise when we stumbled upon this quaint Belgium diner-esque restaurant.  Really nice Belgium beer selection, five star service, inexpensive menu and the restaurant was very clean.  Highly recommended all around.

We were both craving Indian so we went to Tandoor for dinner.  We thought it would be safe to have Indian on our first night...just in case our tummies didn't agree with it.  However, we were treated to a very nice dinner with very nice servers.  The owner even came out to take this photo for us
