Napa Valley - Day Three Itinerary

730AM Biscuits
1502 Main Street, Napa CA 94559

This place is so rockin.  Seriously, they serve breakfast for champions.  I had a piece of Kyung's chicken and wanted to get another order for myself.  It was that damn good.  This was a really nice 'neighborhoody' breakfast joint.  Very quaint, fantastic service and really nice, hearty food.  We loved it so much I put a review on yelp.

This was the first winery on Silverado Trail we tried and the fifth on our roster.  Was a fit for either of our palettes, but the pours were generous and service very kind.

1130 AM Chimney Rock - 5 Flight Tasting

It took six tastings to finally find wines we both really loved.  Ordered a case and it should arrive home a few days after we do.  We've never spent so much on wine, but when in Napa...

130PM Rutherford  Grill (recommended from our salesperson at Chimney Rock.  Upon arrival, realize it a Hillstone aka Houstons.  Same menu)

We were in rush so ordered two fish sandwiches to go.  They were yummy.

230PM Frog's Leap - Full tour and tasting with Kevin.  The winery is lovely and loved that they are very eco conscious.  Unfortunately, as much as we would love to support them, their wines just don't fit our palette.  Since they 'dry farm', their vines live upwards of 80 years so it's a safe bet that if you love their wines, you will consistently get the same quality wine year after year.  Sadly, it also means that if you don't like their wines now, you probably wont in the future.

715PM Cole's Chophouse

We shared the porterhouse for two.  Service was great and the steak was flavorful.  It is the nicest steakhouse in town and it was good overall.   Not NYC good, but good enough to hit the spot.
